TASK 5: Learning styles


Make notes about activities you observe in the classroom which use the learning styles below:


Math
Science
Reading
Other
Auditory
Listen for the teacher when she teaches them the shapes.

Read with teacher the book.

Visual
They see the shapes and how it looks like.

The picture that describe the story.

Kinesthetic
Search in the book for the shapes.

color the picture .


Answer the following questions:
·         Which learning styles did all the children seem to enjoy and why?
Kinesthetic, because they can touch and try to do something. Students always want to work.
·         Why do you think the teacher incorporates a variety of learning styles for the children?
It helps them to teach the student to let them understand by different way.

·         Notice which activities are repeated with a variety of learning styles e.g. read a story, listen to a story, act the story, draw the story. Can you find other examples e.g. math or science
They can search to find some shapes in the book.

·         How can teachers improve student learning by using a range of learning styles?

Let them to understand the lesson by different learning style:  Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic.
