The Learning Environment
Focus:
The
learning environment.
Objective:
For student teachers to map the learning
environment that exists in the classroom including the layout of the seated
area and the learning centers.
3a) Make
a sketch of the classroom and identify the function of each area.
Procedure
Draw a map of the learning
environment within the classroom and list the functions of each of the activity
areas. If possible take photographs of the classroom including displays on the
wall.
3b) Make a chart and takes notes on what you
observe

Student can wash their hand before the brake and after the art

Teacher writes and explains the lesson. Also, she can ask the
student question and answer them.

Play area
|
Teacher allow for the students who finish their work to play and
create a lot of shapes.

Students sit in the carpet. So, they can’t speak and they will
focus in the lesson
|
Reading area
|
Student can read different book with teacher and discus the book.
|
Display area
|
Student post their works in the board. Each subject has her own section
in the board.

Students create new shapes from the toys .
