The importance of planning and preparation
Objective
The objective of this task is for student teachers to begin to identify and discuss the relevance of planning and preparation as well as to gain insight into how teachers do this.
Before the observation
Discuss the task with the teacher and arrange a good time to observe her teaching. (this could be for as little as 15 min)
During the observation, record and make notes on what the teacher and the learners are doing.

Teacher gives the student colored papers to do a booklet.

Sometimes, it depends on the lesson. We would play a game. It also helps to break away as to bring the interest back in.

Yes, so that all learners are engaged by the work. There is however, a different level to be considered, so activities will differ.
