Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing
Today I teach the student about the numbers from 1-5 and the theme is about all about me. So, I try to match all of topic. First, I let them count by their hands from number 1-5. Then we sing “one little figure” and this song talk about the part of the body for example “eyes, figure, hand, chin, nose, and etc.…”. Then we put the number in order from one to five and I ask some students to help me. We sing Alice the camel song and I think it talk about our culture. Finally, we play a game and move the red card and when stop the music I will ask the students who have the number about the numbers if he/she answer they will get a sticker. And I think that I did a lot activity at the carpet.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? if they find something interesting they will do their best to achieve this thing. As you see, when I let the student sit in the carpet they start to jump that because too did the activity and they are very interesting about it.
